The University Of Arizona Vs. Utsa - 969 Words

Going to a university where football is taken as serious as it is here at Arizona is an affair of it’s own. Personally, I had only experienced various high school football games, until September 3rd, 2015 when I decided to attend The University of Arizona vs. UTSA here at our home stadium. The school spirit, pride and student section, also known as the ZonaZoo, are all such huge contributions to the experience itself. Although football games are only one part of the community here at the U of A, they bring out the comradery in our student body as U of A students love to watch their school succeed against opponents. The clock struck 3:30pm as I walked into my apartment on Thursday the 3rd after my MIS class. I proceeded to unlock my bedroom, put my bag down and get into my UA Wildcat gear in preparation for the first game. My fraternity brothers and I were all meeting over at our house shortly so we could all walk to the stadium together. I then proceeded down the elevator, out to Park Avenue, and started my walk to the house. The minute I stepped outside I overheard a group of girls talking about the football game. â€Å"I’m so excited to finally get back to the Zoo,† one said. â€Å"Football season is my favorite time of the year,† another one said. I continued to walk down Park Avenue where I observed various groups of students all getting excited for the first game of the year.
